Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction and Definitions
1.1This website, globalonchainsummit.com (the “Website”), and the Global Onchain Summit events, including Global Onchain Summit Singapore 2026 and any other edition (each an “Event”), are operated by Deca Media - FZCO, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with its address at Unit 1801-1804, 18th Floor, Ontario Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE (the “Organiser”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
1.2In these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”):
- (a)“Attendee” means any person who applies to attend, or attends, an Event, whether or not their attendance is approved;
- (b)“Sponsor” means any company or person that sponsors, partners with or exhibits at an Event;
- (c)“Speaker” means any speaker, panelist, moderator or other person who takes part in an Event programme; and
- (d)“Third-Party Platform” means any external registration, ticketing or communications service used in connection with an Event, such as Luma.
1.3Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing the Website, submitting any form on it, registering or applying for an Event, or attending an Event, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms in full.
1.4We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Website, with the “Last updated” date amended. Your continued use of the Website, or your attendance at an Event after the update, constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
1.5We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or remove from, any Event any person whose behaviour we consider unacceptable or who breaches these Terms.
2. Registration and Admission
2.1Global Onchain Summit is a curated event. Attendance is by application and review only. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission, and we may approve or decline any application at our sole discretion. Approved Attendees are notified by email. Admission to the Event is subject to venue capacity, security and safety requirements and applicable law, and places are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis among approved applicants until venue capacity is reached.
2.2Attendance at the Event is free of charge for approved Attendees. No fee is payable to us for an attendee pass.
2.3Registration may be handled through a Third-Party Platform. That platform’s own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of it, and we are not responsible for its availability, accuracy or conduct.
2.4You must provide accurate and complete information, including your name, company and role. We may cancel or refuse any registration that contains false or misleading information or misrepresents your identity, employer or role.
2.5Your pass, confirmation or ticket is personal to you and may not be transferred, sold or shared without our written consent. It remains our property and is a personal, revocable licence to attend, which we may withdraw at any time. You may be asked to show government-issued photo identification at check-in.
2.6Places are limited. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as early as possible so your place can be released. We may decline future applications from approved Attendees who repeatedly fail to attend without notice.
2.7We reserve the right to cancel any pass or registration obtained by improper means, including bug exploitation, automated or bulk registration, duplicate registrations or any other method we consider unauthorised, without prior notice.
3. Changes, Postponement and Cancellation
3.1Speakers, topics, session formats, timings, venue and the Event date are confirmed at the time of publishing, but circumstances beyond our control may require substitutions, alterations or cancellations. We may change, modify or cancel any part of an Event programme without liability to you. Updates will be posted on the Website or communicated to Attendees as soon as reasonably practicable.
3.2If we cancel, postpone or relocate an Event, we are not responsible for any airfare, hotel, visa or other costs incurred by Attendees, Sponsors, Speakers or guests.
3.3We are not liable for any failure or delay in holding or delivering an Event caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, severe weather, epidemic or public-health measures, government action, civil unrest, security threat, strike, power or network failure, or the unavailability of the venue or of key participants. No refunds are issued for cancellation or disruption arising from such causes except as set out in the Sponsorship Agreement.
4. Sponsors, Partners and Exhibitors
4.1Sponsorship, partnership and exhibitor arrangements are governed by these Terms together with the written proposal, order form or agreement issued by us (the “Sponsorship Agreement”). If there is a conflict on commercial terms, the Sponsorship Agreement prevails.
4.2Fees are payable as set out in the Sponsorship Agreement or invoice. Fees paid are non-refundable, and cancelled orders are not refundable, except where the Sponsorship Agreement or applicable law provides otherwise.
4.3We do not provide transport, travel or accommodation to or from any Event. We will consider, but cannot guarantee, Sponsors’ requests for changes to booth location, session slot or Event day.
4.4All items we supply (screens, laptops, cabling, electronic equipment, rooms, furniture and similar) are supplied on a rental basis. No exchange, transfer or refund of ordered items will be made on site. Sponsors must pay for any damage or loss to items supplied to them.
4.5Any complaint about rental items or installation must be raised before the Event opens. Items rented on the day must be inspected and tested immediately, failing which they are deemed received in good working order. Equipment must be insured “all risk” by the hirer, who remains liable until our authorised staff have collected it. Missing equipment will be invoiced at its original insurance value.
4.6Non-standard items may be offered on request, subject to a separate quotation and to these Terms.
4.7By sponsoring, partnering with, exhibiting at or speaking at an Event, or by supplying your company logo to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use your name, logo and brand materials on the Website, social media, Event materials and marketing, and in post-Event reports. We may adjust the size, format or placement of your logo as needed. You confirm that you have authority to grant this permission and that it does not infringe any third-party right. To raise a concern, contact us at [email protected].
4.8Sponsors are responsible for ensuring that all materials, promotions, giveaways, product descriptions and claims they present at or in connection with an Event are lawful in each relevant jurisdiction, are not misleading, and do not offer or promote any regulated product or service without the required licences. Sponsors must not guarantee returns or present any product as risk-free. We may require changes to, or the removal of, any material at our discretion.
4.9Sponsorship or partnership does not constitute an endorsement by us of the Sponsor or its products, services or tokens.
5. Speakers and Moderators
5.1Applications to speak are reviewed by our programme team. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, and we are not obliged to give reasons for our decision.
5.2Unless agreed in writing, Speakers are not paid a fee, and we do not cover travel or accommodation costs.
5.3Speakers are solely responsible for their content. Content must be accurate to the best of the Speaker’s knowledge, must comply with applicable law, and must not be used to promote or solicit investment in any token, security or product. Speakers must disclose any material conflict of interest or compensation relevant to their session.
5.4Speakers grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to record, publish and distribute their session, name, image, voice, biography and presentation materials in connection with the Event and its promotion, including in highlights, articles and podcasts.
5.5We may substitute, reschedule or remove any Speaker or session at our discretion. The views expressed by Speakers are their own and not those of the Organiser.
6. Attendee Conduct
6.1All persons at an Event must comply with applicable law, venue rules and the reasonable instructions of our staff, security and venue personnel.
6.2You must not:
- (a)harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse any other person, or disrupt any session or the Event generally;
- (b)solicit, sell or promote goods, services, tokens or investments, or distribute promotional material, at an Event without our prior written consent;
- (c)collect, scrape or compile Attendee names or contact details for bulk or unsolicited marketing, or use contact details obtained at the Event for any purpose other than the individual business conversation in which they were shared;
- (d)impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- (e)bring any weapon, hazardous or illegal item into the venue; or
- (f)interfere with the venue’s or our systems, networks or Wi-Fi, or attempt unauthorised access to them.
6.3We and the venue may carry out identity and security checks and bag searches.
6.4If you breach this section, we may remove you from the Event without refund or liability, cancel your registration, and refuse your future attendance.
7. Photography, Recording and Off-the-Record Sessions
7.1Events are photographed, filmed and recorded, and may be live-streamed. By attending, you consent to us and our designees capturing and using your image, voice and name in photographs, video and audio for Event reporting, promotion and archives, worldwide and without compensation, in any media.
7.2If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform our staff at check-in. We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee that you will not appear in wide-angle or crowd footage.
7.3Select sessions may be designated off the record or closed-door. You must not record, quote or attribute any such session without our written consent. You must not record audio or video of any session for publication or commercial purposes without our written consent. Personal photographs for non-commercial use are permitted.
8. Global Onchain Awards
8.1The Global Onchain Awards (the “Awards”), presented at the Event, are governed by the CoinGape Awards Terms & Conditions (the “Awards Terms”) and the published methodology. These Terms apply to the Awards only to the extent the Awards Terms do not address a matter. If there is a conflict on any matter relating to the Awards, the Awards Terms prevail.
8.2Nominations, eligibility review, jury deliberation, ratification and the selection of winners follow the process set out in the Awards Terms and the published methodology. Decisions made in accordance with that process are final. We may disqualify any entry or vote that we reasonably believe to involve manipulation, automated or fraudulent voting, or misrepresentation.
8.3Nominees and winners consent to our publicising the results, including their names, logos and award titles. An award is not an endorsement, certification or assurance of the winner’s products, security, regulatory status or performance.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
9.1The collection and use of your personal data by us is governed by the Global Onchain Summit Privacy Policy.
9.2When you apply, register or submit a form, we may collect your name, email address, company, role, website, Telegram handle, LinkedIn profile and other details you provide.
9.3By providing your details, you agree that we, and our affiliates and Event partners, may contact you by email and messaging platforms about the Event, future editions and related products and services. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by writing to [email protected].
9.4Where you have opted in, or where otherwise permitted by law, we may share your name, company and role with Sponsors and Partners of the Event, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9.5To request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, write to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1All copyright, trademarks, logos, designs, text, graphics, agenda content, recordings and other intellectual property in the Website and the Events, including the “Global Onchain Summit” name and logo, remain at all times owned by us or our licensors. You may use this material only as expressly authorised by us, and we reserve all rights not expressly granted.
10.2You may view the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from any part of the Website or Event content without our prior written consent.
10.3Where you submit content to us, such as a speaker application, presentation, biography or testimonial, you confirm that you own it or have the right to submit it, and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it in connection with the Events and their promotion.
10.4Third-party names, logos and marks displayed on the Website or at an Event belong to their respective owners. Their display does not grant you any rights in them.
11. No Financial Advice; Digital Asset Risk; Third-Party Content
11.1All information provided on the Website, at an Event or in connection with it is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not, and must not be treated as, financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting or compliance advice, nor as an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any digital asset, security, fund or other product.
11.2Neither we, our affiliates, Speakers nor Sponsors act as your financial or legal adviser. You should obtain independent professional advice before making any decision.
11.3Digital assets and onchain products are volatile and carry a high risk of loss, and may be restricted or prohibited in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for determining whether, and how, you may lawfully participate in any product or service you learn about at or through an Event.
11.4Views, opinions and statements of Speakers, panelists, moderators, Sponsors and other participants are those of the individuals or companies concerned. We do not verify, endorse or guarantee their accuracy, completeness or suitability.

11.7Case studies, examples and past results presented at an Event are not a guarantee of future performance or similar outcomes.
12. Disclaimer
12.1We endeavour to keep the Website available at all times, but we are not liable if it is unavailable for any reason or period. Access may be suspended temporarily and without notice for system failure, maintenance, repair or any other reasonable cause.

13. Limitation of Liability
13.1To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors and partners will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to any person or property howsoever caused, including any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss and any loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, investment or data, arising out of or in connection with the Website or an Event.

This applies whether the claim is in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise.
13.4We are not responsible for the granting of any visa or entry permission required to attend an Event. If your visa or entry is refused, any fee paid to us will not be refunded.
13.5You attend the Event, and bring your belongings, at your own risk.
14. Indemnity
14.1You agree to be fully responsible for, and to indemnify us, our affiliates and their respective directors, officers and employees against, all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your conduct at or in connection with an Event; (c) any content, materials, products or promotions you submit or present; (d) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (e) any use of the Website through your device or account.
